The 1st Maritime Silk Road Port International Forum (MPF 2015) was successfully held in Ningbo on July 11, 2015. It was jointly hosted by China Institute of Navigation, China Waterborne Transport Research Institute, and Ningbo Municipal Government, and was co-organized by Ningbo Port Group Co. Ltd. and APEC Port Services Network (APSN). The theme of MPF 2015 was Port Cooperation on the Maritime Silk Road under Opportunities and Challenges.More than 320 participants from across the industry representing 36 countries and regions along 21st Century Maritime Silk Road attended the Forum. Ningbo Zhoushan Port Co. Ltd. and Port Klang Authority signed the Agreement of Common Action Plan, committing to build a communication mechanism, construct a big data，enhance technology innovation, workflow optimization, as well as mechanical technology partnership. Ningbo Zhoushan Port Co. Ltd. and Busan Port Authority also signed the Friendly Relationship Agreement, with the aim of fostering mutual communication regarding port construction, operation and technology.

The 2nd Maritime Silk Road Port International Forum (MPF 2016) was successfully held in Ningbo on July 12, 2016. It was jointly hosted by the Organizing Committee of China Maritime Forum 2016 and Oceanic & Port Development Commission of Zhejiang Province, and was organized by Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group Co. Ltd., APEC Port Services Network (APSN), Port Klang Authority and China Merchants Holdings (International) Co., Ltd.. The theme of MPF 2016 was Innovation Leads and Cooperative Development.A total of 358 participants from 98 organizations representing 34 economies along the Belt and the Road region attended the Forum. The line-up of keynote speakers included directors and executives from Port Development Commission of Zhejiang Province, Port Klang Authority, National Development and Reform Commission of China, and State Information Centre of China. During the plenary sessions, industry executives and experts presented pivotal topics and trends in their speeches. 20 organizations participated in the port innovation exhibition, a great opportunity to demonstrate business diversity and innovation.  Last year, we offered a comprehensive forum for collaboration. Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group Co. Ltd. signed Memorandum of Cooperation with Hamburg Port Authority and JadeWeser Port at Wilhelmshaven respectively. Ningbo Zhoushan Port Co. Ltd. and Yeosu Geangyang Port Authority also established Sister Port Relationships

The 3rd Maritime Silk Road Port International Cooperation Forum (MPF 2017) was successfully held in Ningbo on July 12, 2017. It was jointly hosted by the Organizing Committee of China Maritime Forum 2017 and Oceanic & Port Development Commission of Zhejiang Province, and wad organized by Zhejiang Provincial Seaport Investment & Operation Group(Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group Co. Ltd.), APEC Port Services Network (APSN), Port Klang Authority, Shanghai International Shipping Institute, Drewry Shipping Consultants Ltd, Antwerp Port Authority, China Merchants Port Holdings, Port of Rotterdam Authority ,Korean Maritime Institute and Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore(MPA) The theme of MPF2017 is "New change in market, New development in port" . 472 guests from 161 organizations representing 35 economies along the Belt and the Road region attended this forum, and 30 port authorities participated the exhibition. During the forum, Zhejiang Seaport and Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group signed in the LNG Port Alliance and international port berthing optimization Association, becoming the first Chinese port member unit in the two organization. Ningbo Zhoushan Port successfully held the first thematic cooperation conference with 4 ports in central and Eastern Europe (Constanta port, Rijeka port, port of Kopee and Gdansk port).

MPF2018 will be held at Ningbo Shangri-La Hotel on 13th-14th June. It is jointly hosted by The People's Government of Ningbo Municipality, Zhejiang Provincial Oceanic & Port Development Commission, Zhejiang Provincial Communication Department, China Institute of Navigation, China Ports & Harbors Association, China Waterborne Transport Research Institute, China COSCO Shipping Corporation, APEC Port Services Network, International Association of Ports and Harbors and is organized by Zhejiang Provincial Seaport Investment & Operation Group, Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group, Ningbo Municipal Transport Commission, Foreign Affairs Office of Ningbo Municipal People's Government, Ningbo International Investment Promotion Bureau,Port Klang Authority, China Merchants Port Holdings Company Limited,Shanghai International Shipping Institute, Antwerp Port Authority, Korea Maritime Institute, Port of Rotterdam Authority, Drewry Shipping Consultants, Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute China,Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore, DP World.An estimated 400 participants will attend the main forum, including directors and executives from port authorities, terminal operators, shipping & logistic companies, shipping service companies, state agencies, industry associations, research institutions and consulting companies, etc.

The 5th Haisi Port International Cooperation Forum was successfully held in Shangri La Hotel, Ningbo, China from July 11 to 12, 2019. Sponsored by the Organizing Committee of China Navigation day forum in 2019, the forum is mainly hosted by Zhejiang harbor group Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group Co., Ltd. and is also hosted by Ningbo Transportation Bureau, Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office, APSN, COSCO, IAPH, China Port Association, China Shipping Association, China Shipping Association, China Shipping Association, China Shipping Association, China Shipping Association, China Shipping Association, China Shipping Association, etc It is jointly undertaken by Shanghai International Shipping Research Center, China Merchants Port Group Co., Ltd., Antwerp Port Authority, Korea Marine Fisheries Development Institute, Rotterdam Port Authority, Algeciras Bay Port Authority, deluli maritime services Co., Ltd. and Barcelona port authority.The theme of this forum is "Rong · Tong -- the spirit of inheriting the partnership of the Silk Road", that is, to build the forum platform with the concept and goal of "Rong" and "Tong", so as to carry forward the spirit of inheriting the partnership of the Silk Road for thousands of years. From one belt, one road, 43 countries and regions, 669 guests from 204 units participated in the forum.

The 6th Maritime Silk Road Port International Cooperation Forum was successfully held in Intercontinental Hotel Ningbo, China from October 19 to 21, 2021. The sixth Maritime Port International Cooperation Forum is one of the featured series of activities of China Maritime Day. Under the joint guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Transport and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, it aims to build a new development pattern based on service, build a platform for port and shipping cooperation and exchange under the framework of "The Belt and Road", and promote the construction of a global port and shipping community with a shared future.

The 7th Maritime Silk Road Port International Cooperation Forum was successfully held from 17 to 19 July 2023 at Shangri-La Hotel, Ningbo, China. Under the guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, the 7th Maritime Silk Road Port International Cooperation Forum is based on the new trend of world economic and trade development, based on the construction of a new development pattern of services, to create a platform for port and shipping cooperation and exchange under the framework of the "Belt and Road", and to promote the construction of a global port and shipping community with a shared future.
